Pebble Wave Fabric by Fabricut was used to fabricate this box pleated valance. The wave in the fabric was accentuated by the curve in the valance. Not all “box” pleated valances need to be a box! Shoreline Pine fabric by Fabricut was used to make contrasting pleats and welt cording creating another detail to further enhance the flowing pattern of the main material

Pavel Driftwood fabric by Fabricut was used to fabricate a box pleated valance that maintained the box shape with only one center pleat. Valances are designed in part to emphasize and show off the fabric. In this design, the larger boxes with one center pleat displayed the pattern in the fabric beautifully.

Grandma loves antiques, gardening and birds. A room was created to help Grandma feel right at home when she comes to visit with layered window treatments. A shawl valance was fabricated using Bird Vignette Multi fabric by Greenhouse Fabrics. A small band of pink was added to the bottom to compliment the quilt on the bed. Underneath the valance is Sheer Shading by Comfortex Window Fashion with a motorized wand. A beautiful white on white Summer Breeze pattern continues to bring the outdoors in. Grandma loves her room when she comes to visit!
